With Parent-Teacher Conferences this last Thursday, I love to connect with families not just on an academic level, but more of a personal level. All families are different and some don't share as much, but this is truly one of the best parts of the job!

It has arrived! Our Be Kind Library is here and ready to paint, seal and prep to get put up in the yard. A HUGE thanks to Sharing Libraries out of Stillwater, Minnesota for making this library! They have an amazing Etsy shop (Linked Below)!

Unfortunately, Mother Nature has not cooperated.... with high temps in the single digits (an wind chills well below 0), the ground will be frozen for a bit.

The person who made this box sent a little note explaining the concept of the little library. I have attached a link below to read and find out more. This is a pretty cool little program that promotes literacy and a feeling of making the community a better place.

The Yarn Campaign is coming along nicely! I have several skeins on deck and several hats already made!

Here is a preview of the "Kind Library" that I will be putting up in my yard. I do have plans to paint it with some fun designs. Stay tuned!

Yesterday we talking about compliments and kindness. We wrote small compliment notes and shared them with each other. Since the snow stopped us from completing this today, I wanted to challenge you at home! 🏠
