Community School of Hutchinson serves students from Preschool through sixth grade. The preschool class meets two mornings each week, kindergarten class meets three mornings each week, and 1st - 6th grade students meet in the classroom for three days each week, and the other two days are set aside for homeschooling. Parents teach from lesson plans prepared and sent home by the child's teacher. The
leadership of the school consists of a group of parents who recognize that the responsibility of our children's education falls upon us. Understanding that the way in which we train up our children will directly affect their education and future, we as parents desire that our children be equipped with the tools of knowledge intertwined with Biblical wisdom. Our Foundational Principles:
1. We teach a Biblical worldview. Everything is taught under the umbrella of Scripture.
2. We uphold and seek to reinforce the standards of a Godly home.
3. We respect the parent's role as the God-ordained trainers of their children.
4. We are committed to providing Godly role models for the children.

Homeschool Enrichment:
We have established a partnership with local homeschool families to provide Community School students and homeschool students the opportunity to have enrichment classes in the arts, music and science as well as physical education with an emphasis on hands-on learning activities. These activities will take place bi-weekly. Essential Components:
1. The MENTOR relationship between teacher and student.
2. The pursuit of a like-minded COMMUNITY in the educational process. MENTOR: "A wise and trusted teacher." The teachers of Community School of Hutchinson possess exemplary moral character, accepted as essential for influencing the minds of our children toward spiritual things. They maintain strict moral standards in the classroom and hold each child accountable for his/her actions. COMMUNITY: Believing that the character of a school reflects the collective character of the families who make up the school, Community School of Hutchinson's families have a common view toward Godly parenting as taught in the Bible.
