The Hutchinson Community College Cosmetology Program offers a stellar education to anyone interested in the cosmetology industry. HCC Cosmetology was formerly known as Sidney's Hairdressing College. The Cosmetology program is only 11 months long and during that time you learn everything from the basics of hair cutting, coloring and styling, facials, nails and much much more! We start classes every

January and June. Cosmetologists are licensed to work on hair, skin and nails. The HCC instructors specialize in these things and have a wealth of knowledge to be shared with you.! Along with those skills and the Pivot Point curriculum and online learning program the possibilities are endless.

We took the time at the end of the day last week to celebrate the incomparable Dolly Parton re-creating some of her iconic looks as a challenge! We only got an hour to create the styles start to finish. There were clouds of hairspray dusting the room as we paid homage to the beautiful human being we will always remember her as. Love you Dolly!

Calling all Pre-K through 12th-grade students! HutchCC Cosmetology and Barbering is partnering with local salon and shop professionals to offer free back-to-school haircuts for area students.

Join us on Monday, August 10, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 200 East 3rd Avenue in Hutchinson. Haircuts are offered on a first-come, first-served basis with no appointments necessary, but all cuts must be started by 2:00 PM. We are so grateful to our local volunteers, students, and instructors for giving back to our community.
