🌱 Growing Together Wednesday | Staff Spotlight 🌱

This week, meet Ms. Hannah, our Early Toddler 2 Lead Teacher! 🌸💕

Ms. Hannah brings more than four years of experience in early childhood education, has earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance!

Her dance background spans tap, ballet, modern, folk, Irish, and contemporary—a wonderful variety of ways to express creativity through movement! 🩰✨

Outside the classroom, Ms. Hannah is a girl mom who enjoys crocheting and baking. 🧶🧁

We’re grateful to have her as part of our St. Philip Preschool family, helping our little learners discover, explore, and grow. Help us show Ms. Hannah some love in the comments! 💚

✝️ Rooted in faith. Nurtured with love. Growing together.

🐾🍂 Another Wonderful Week at St. Philip Preschool! 🍂🐾

Our classrooms were filled with kindness, curiosity, and lots of smiles as we explored All About Pets & Vets! Our little learners discovered what animals need to stay healthy, practiced caring for pets through dramatic play, and learned about the important work veterinarians do. 🐶🐱🐰

One of the sweetest moments of our week was our Blessing of Pets & Stuffies. The children loved sharing their favorite stuffed animals and pictures of their family pets as we thanked God for all the special creatures He created. ❤️

We also highlighted Ms. Ashley B., one of the longtime and valued members of our preschool family! Her caring heart, dedication, and commitment to helping children feel loved and supported are such blessings to our students and families. 🌻

Next week, we’ll begin our friendly and fascinating All About Bats & Spiders theme! 🦇🕷️ We’ll explore these amazing creatures through stories, science, counting, art, movement, and hands-on learning.

A few important reminders:

🍁 Four-Day Weekend: No school Friday, October 9 through Monday, October 12.

🍎 Optional Parent–Teacher Conferences: Monday, October 12. Don’t forget to sign up if you would like an opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher!

🚜 Hay Ride: Thursday, October 15.

We hope all of our St. Philip families enjoy a safe, restful, and fun-filled long weekend! Thank you for continuing to grow with us! 💙💚

🍂🎃 4-DAY WEEKEND FAMILY FUN! 🎃🍂

St. Philip Preschool families, we have a 4-day weekend coming up October 9–12, and there are SO many fun things happening around DFW! 🧡

With the holiday season upon us, our surrounding cities are filling their calendars with pumpkin patches, festivals, special events, outdoor activities and plenty of opportunities to make some sweet fall memories together. 🍁

We put together a list of just a few things your family can explore over the long weekend!

🎃 Pumpkin patches & corn mazes
🚂 Day Out With Thomas
🚒 HeroFest
🐴 Trick or Trot
🎶 Autumn Sounds
🌻 Farm & garden activities
🎨 Crafts & family events
🎡 State Fair fun
🍂 And so much more!

Four days off means a little extra time to slow down, get outside, explore somewhere new and enjoy being together. ❤️

Take the pictures. Try something new. Pick a pumpkin. Eat the fall treat. Let the kids stay up a little later. 🍎🎃🍿

These are the moments they'll remember. 🧡

📌 Save this post so you have plenty of ideas when the long weekend gets here!

Event details can change, so please check each venue's website before heading out.

🍎📚 Happy World Teachers’ Day! 📚🍎

Today, October 5, we celebrate the incredible teachers who make St. Philip Preschool such a special place to learn and grow. 💗🌱

Our teachers do so much more than teach—they encourage curiosity, celebrate little victories, wipe away tears, give countless hugs, inspire confidence, and help our little learners discover just how much they are capable of. ✨

Every story read, question answered, hand held, and lesson taught is planting a seed that can last a lifetime. 🌱❤️

To our amazing SPP teachers: THANK YOU for the patience, creativity, kindness, and love you pour into your classrooms each and every day. The work you do matters, and we are incredibly grateful for you! 🍎💕
