If you enjoyed Dr. Don Livermore's masterclass a couple of weeks ago, then you're going to love what we have planned this Friday. This will be every bit as educational, but with an even deeper dive into the science of whiskey. It's going to be incredibly fun, incredibly nerdy, and unlike almost any class you'll ever have the opportunity to attend.

For nearly four years, Balcones conducted an ambitious series of climate and maturation experiments, aging whiskey in different environments throughout Texas and around the world to study how temperature, humidity, and location influence maturation and flavor. These experiments were never intended to become a touring masterclass and have almost never been presented outside the walls of the distillery.

What makes this evening even more extraordinary is that the very people responsible for creating these whiskies will be at the Whiskey Castle to guide us through them.
