🎉Welcome our new American Mensa BrightKids member, Keegan!👏

Keegan from Tumwater, Washington, is a bright 8-year-old Peruvian American with an exceptional memory and a driving passion for math, geography, and reading. From an early age, Keegan has always been incredibly curious, loving science, solving tricky mental math problems, and diving deep into different topics that catch his interest. Currently captivated by chemistry, Keegan is learning the periodic table and exploring how elements behave and interact! His intellectual abilities have earned him acceptance into Mensa, Intertel, and the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth.

Outside of academics, Keegan is an active athlete who plays sports year-round. Football is his absolute favorite sport, but he also enjoys training at the gym, playing basketball, and baseball. When he isn't on the field, Keegan is dedicated to martial arts and is currently closing in on earning his Taekwondo Black Belt!

Victor is a deeply curious, immensely empathetic little boy who sees the world through patterns, systems, and endless questions. He loves building maps, transportation networks, and cities, and is happiest exploring nature, searching for bugs, learning about weather, and dreaming about traveling the world to understand how different places and people are connected.

Mensa has given our family a community that celebrates his curiosity while providing opportunities for him to connect with peers who share his love of learning and support his social and emotional growth.

Sebastian is a 10-year-old from South Texas whose extraordinary academic abilities and love of learning have opened doors to advanced educational opportunities across the country. From reading independently as a toddler to studying advanced mathematics through programs hosted at MIT and beyond, he continues to thrive while pursuing a wide range of interests and leadership opportunities.

Most importantly, Sebastian hopes to use his talents to serve others, with dreams of becoming a pediatrician or pursuing another career that makes a meaningful difference in his community.

🎉Welcome our new American Mensa BrightKids member, Charlie!👏

At just five years old, Charlie has already distinguished himself as a new member of Mensa - a reflection of both his remarkable intellect and his deep, natural curiosity about the world.

His love of learning revealed itself early. By 18 months, Charlie had mastered the alphabet and was beginning to read simple words; by age two, he was reading full books. Not long after, his interests expanded to numbers. Between the ages of two and three, he developed a fascination with math, counting to 1,000 and even working through early algebra problems on his whiteboard. By three and a half, he had memorized his multiplication tables.

From there, his curiosity only widened. Geography and astronomy quickly captured his attention, and by age four, Charlie’s exceptional visual-spatial memory allowed him to memorize the capital cities and flags of every country in the world. He continues to enjoy learning about different cultures and global perspectives, always eager to absorb something new.

Now, at age five, Charlie reads at a seventh-grade level, has mastered 1,000 sight words, and is working through fourth-grade math concepts - confidently describing himself as an expert in decimals and fractions. Despite his impressive academic abilities, he’s also known for his great sense of humor and love of telling jokes, bringing laughter to those around him. Through his involvement with Mensa, he has also had the opportunity to connect with other gifted children in the area, forming friendships with peers who share his curiosity and love of learning.

Beyond academics, Charlie is equally drawn to creativity and play. He enjoys art, soccer, and running, bringing the same enthusiasm to his hobbies as he does to his studies. When asked about the future, he simply says he hopes to become a doctor or a scientist - an ambition that already feels well within reach.

Since Nova was just shy of 2 years old, she has shown a curiosity to learn more. She demonstrates her interest in being intellectually motivated and enjoys exploring complex ideas and challenges. Reading at 3 helped her do that. Nova enjoys art, riddles, Legos and meeting new friends.

As a family, we believe Mensa membership will provide opportunities to connect with intellectually engaged peers, participate in enrichment activities, and continue developing her talents. We value the educational resources, supportive community, and networking opportunities that Mensa offers.

🎉Welcome our new American Mensa BrightKids member, Ben!👏

Ben is a very social 5-year-old boy and hopes to be a doctor when he grows up because he wants to help as many people as he can. His intelligence showed up early when he taught himself to read at 2. At 3, he memorized the location of every country on the globe and its flag. Now that he is 4, his interest in math is in full swing.

Ben and his family are so proud to have him become a member of the Mensa organization. Having a network of other children like Ben and resources to help him grow is truly invaluable.
