Today, our fifth graders had the privilege of hearing from Victor Guzman, a 9/11 survivor who worked on the 85th floor of the South Tower.
Students learned firsthand about this important moment in our nation’s history, but Mr. Guzman’s message went far beyond the events of that day. He encouraged our students to be “first responders” in everyday life—to notice when someone needs a friend, offer support, look out for one another, and show gratitude for those who work each day to protect and serve us.
We are so grateful to Mr. Guzman for sharing his powerful story and such an important message with our students. ❤️🇺🇸
If you have a fifth grader, be sure to ask them about what they learned today and what message stood out to them most!
