Huron Elementary ELP Huron Elementary Expanded Learning Program “The N.E.S.T” is an academic-recreation-enrichment program for elementary-aged children.

Huron Elementary N.E.S.T is an academic-recreation-enrichment program for elementary aged children. Children must be currently enrolled in Transition kindergarten – 5th grade. Please note: Huron Elementary N.E.S.T is not a licensed childcare program or daycare. Under California State Law, we are a license-exempt recreation program. Because of funding purposes and specific school needs your child may only attend his/her home school. Our program is structured to include academic time, healthy snacks, various indoor and outdoor recreation games, arts & crafts, and enrichment activities. Huron Elementary N.E.S.T es un programa de enriquecimiento académico, recreación para niños de primaria. Los niños deben estar actualmente inscritos en jardín de infantes de transición a quinto grado. Tenga en cuenta: Huron Elementary N.E.S.T no es un programa de cuidado infantil ni una guardería con licencia. Según la ley del estado de California, somos un programa de recreación exento de licencia. Debido a propósitos de financiamiento y necesidades escolares específicas, su hijo solo puede asistir a su escuela de origen. Nuestro programa está estructurado para incluir tiempo académico, refrigerios saludables, varios juegos recreativos en el interior y al aire libre, artes y manualidades y actividades de enriquecimiento.

📚✨ WOW! Homework Café was packed today!

With clubs, tutoring, and sports keeping our students busy during the first half of program, they also have the option during rotations to choose Homework Café—a dedicated space to catch up and finish their homework. ✏️💚

And of course, it’s led by Ms. Eva—requested by our students! 🥰📚

Durante la primera parte del programa, nuestros estudiantes están ocupados con clubs, tutorías y deportes. Después, durante las rotaciones, también pueden elegir Homework Café, un espacio donde pueden ponerse al corriente y terminar sus tareas. ✏️💚

Y claro, Ms. Eva está a cargo—¡porque nuestros mismos estudiantes la pidieron! 🥰📚
