Superintendent Dr. James Tatman and Treasurer Mike Limberios are hosting three community conversations this fall at Gathering Grounds Coffee House. These are informal, open to everyone, and a chance to hear what's happening across the district and share what's on your mind.

Wednesday, September 16 | 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 17 | 8:00-9:00 a.m.
Wednesday, November 18 | 7:30-8:30 a.m.

Friday night football is back and we cannot wait to see Huron Memorial Stadium packed with Tigers fans! 🏈🐯

Before you head out to the first game, we want to share a few quick reminders for our elementary families to help keep Friday nights safe and fun for everyone.

PreK through 5th grade students should stay in the stands or with a parent or guardian at all times. Please avoid unsupervised areas and keep little ones close throughout the game.

Footballs and other projectiles are not permitted in the stadium or surrounding lots. Please leave them at home as any items brought to the game may be confiscated at the gate.

We want every family to have a great experience on Friday nights. Reviewing these expectations with your student before the game goes a long way. Thank you for your support and for helping make game nights something the whole community can enjoy!

Please read the following graphic regarding Friday Night expectations at Huron Memorial Stadium. Any questions can be directed to Director of Activities and Athletics Matthew Ayers at [email protected]

"In preparation for our Friday Nights at Huron Memorial this season, please read the following message:

- Students in grades K–5 must remain in the stands or with a parent/guardian at all times.
- Students in grades 6–8 should remain in the designated student section above the high school student section.
- No footballs or other projectiles are to be thrown or kicked around in any of the grass lots or in the stadium. Any balls will be confiscated at the gate or by Huron Admin.

Thank you for helping us keep our football games safe, organized, and fun for all of our Huron families and fans. We appreciate your cooperation and continued support of Huron Athletics!"

Huron City Schools welcomed some new faces this week! 🐯

Our newest staff members spent Tuesday getting to know our community the right way, starting with a bus tour of Huron to learn about our district and the students they will be serving. They also had the chance to sit in with the Huron Rotary Club to learn more about our city and community. Thank you to the Huron Rotary Club for hosting lunch and for the warm welcome!

We are so excited to have them joining our Tiger family this fall. 🧡

Huge thank you to our district staff, PTO, Huron Library, Boy Scouts, and all the friends who came out to hang with us.
