💙 House Sorting Day at Hurley! 💙

One of our favorite traditions—welcoming our Pre-K 3/4 kiddos, our new students, and new staff into their Hurley Houses! 🏁❤️💚💙🖤
Everyone got to choose their lucky duck to discover which House would become their new school family, and of course, no House Sorting is complete without getting officially slide certified! 🦆🛝
We love watching our Hurley family grow and seeing the excitement as everyone finds where they belong—one school, four Houses, one BIG family! 💙🏠
Thank you Ms. Angel and Ms. Monica for organizing and leading this activity!

5th. Grade celebrated 3 weeks worth of learning with a "Book Tasting". Students demonstrated their knowledge of nonfiction text by identifying the genres and deciding whether books were informational, biographies, or autobiographies and explaining what clues helped them decide. While also discovering some new must reads. Completion of the task earned you a taste of some sweets.

✨ABC BOOTCAMP has begun for our Kindergarten Kuties!! 🍎

✏️We have worked on learning letters and sounds. We have been strengthening our fine motor skills with correct letter formation, coloring, cutting and constructing a hat for each letter. 🖍️✂️
The students have been working hard and we will have readers soon! 📚💪🏽🥰
