We are so thankful for the Hurdle Mills Fire Department! They kicked off Fire Prevention Month by making a grand entrance during our Fire Drill this morning! Each grade level had their own special session with our local heroes as they shared fire safety tips and what to do if you find yourself in an unsafe situation with fire.

Please be sure to talk to your child about fire evacuation routes at your home and make sure your smoke detectors work! As someone whose family survived a house fire in September 2020, you never think it will happen to you, until it does! Please be prepared!
