Covenant Weekday Preschool

December was full of Christmas preparations & festivities for our preschoolers 🌲 The kids were busy making gifts for their parents, singing Christmas carols, and sharing the excitement of story of the birth of Jesus in a special Christmas Chapel for family & friends! We topped off the month with a pajama party with popcorn & fished for candy canes & watched Charlie Brown Christmas!

Covenant Preschool teacher and kids have reveled in November! It started with our annual pumpkin drop, filled the halls and walls with turkeys and signs lovely fall. And peaked a Gingerbread Man declaring “Run, run, as fast as you can; you can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man!” They found him in the end and he was delicious!

Covenant Preschool kids have enjoyed many October festivities 🎃 to their fullest with their creative and amazing teachers! They have cleaned, painted, pounded, rolled, and weighed pumpkins. Then they collected, counted, spiced, roasted and ate the pumpkin seeds 😋!

Covenant Preschool’s older classes journeyed to Gullion Farm for a perfect October day spent discovering the farm way of life! They got to explore the barns & farm yard, got to know some amazing animals, take a hay ride, and pick their own pumpkins 🎃 e-i-e-i-o !

The lovely scent of apples has been wafting through the preschool hall as the classes been tasting and comparing apple varieties and making applesauce, baked apples, and a giant apple turnover!

Covenant Preschool kids and teachers are exploring and enjoying the coming of Autumn with all of their senses!
