Grandmaster Mary Smith had a blast at The Riley Center’s Annual Spooktacular this weekend! She hosted her own booth outside, enjoying the beautiful weather and connecting with some incredible families.
The Riley Center does vital work year-round, supporting children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders through a full team of specialists, from therapists to educators. Their Spooktacular brought the community together in the best way—fun, inclusive, and full of heart.
Thank you to The Riley Center for having us. We were proud to be part of an event that celebrates all kids and their unique strengths. 💙🧡

In November of 2017, a little five year old boy came in to try a Taekwondo class. His mom’s objective was from him to gain self-confidence and leadership skills. Almost six years later, Hayden is now a 2nd Degree Black Belt and a great leader. Hayden is an awesome example of living by the Tenets of Taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit. He shows kindness, respect and care to everyone. Congratulations to our May Student of the Month, Hayden!

Congratulations to our April Student of the Month, Tyler! Seven years ago, a sweet, shy nine year old enrolled in my program. It has been such an amazing experience to watch Tyler grow into an awesome young man. I look forward to watching you test for your 3rd Degree Black Belt!
