Step aside, history books… AOA’s fourth graders brought history to life at our annual Live Wax Museum!🌟💙
Each student selected a historical figure to research, wrote and presented a speech, created a visual trifold project, and fully transformed into their character through costume and presentation. From famous leaders and inventors to artists and world changers, our students did an incredible job stepping into the shoes of history’s most influential figures.
This project is always one of the most highly anticipated events of the year and truly feels like a fourth grade rite of passage at AOA. We are so proud of the hard work, creativity, and confidence these students displayed!

✨ Senior Spotlight - Byron Werring ✨
Byron Werring is the son of Dan and Tammie Werring. He is a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and has attended Alpha Omega Academy since ninth grade. Byron has participated in tennis and One Act Play. His honors include Honor Roll, Headmaster’s List, and 2nd place overall in FFA Senior Quiz. He is an active member of NHS, Interact, and FFA. Upon graduation, Byron plans to attend LeTourneau University and pursue a career in aerospace engineering.

✨ Senior Spotlight - Tristin Webb ✨
Tristin Webb is the son of Dustin and Ashley Webb. He attends First Baptist Church of Huntsville and has attended Alpha Omega Academy since kindergarten. Tristin has participated in football and track and received honors including Defensive Player of the Year, 1st Team All-State, 1st Team All-District, and “Alpha Dog” nomination. He is an active member of FCA and FFA. Upon graduation, Tristin plans to attend Montana Technological University and pursue a career in petroleum engineering.

Brody Ward is the son of Jesse and Lindsey Ward. He is a member of Northside Baptist Church and has attended Alpha Omega Academy since kindergarten. Brody has participated in baseball, football, and yearbook. His honors include Interact Secretary, Student Council Representative, and 2025 TAPPS Baseball and Football State Champion. He is an active member of NHS, NEHS, Mu Alpha Theta, Interact, FCA, and FFA. Upon graduation, Brody plans to attend Baylor University or Louisiana State University and pursue a career as a financial advisor.

✨ Senior Spotlight - Brianne Tu ✨
Brianne Tu is the daughter of Charles Tu and Bridget Hollan-Tu. She is a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and has attended Alpha Omega Academy since eighth grade. Brianne has participated in track, robotics, and multiple TAPPS academic competitions. Her honors include Academic All-State, state qualifier in track, and 4th place in state in several academic events. She is an active member of NHS, NEHS, Mu Alpha Theta, Interact, FFA, and Club America. She was also selected to present an original essay at the Sigma Tau Delta Southwest Regional Conference. Upon graduation, Brianne plans to attend LeTourneau University and pursue a career in engineering.

Isaac Thompson is the son of Keith and Erin Thompson. He is a member of Fellowship of
Huntsville Church and has attended Alpha Omega Academy since kindergarten. Isaac has
participated in football, baseball, and speech. His honors include All-State Running Back, state
championships in football and baseball, and state runner-up in speech. Upon graduation, Isaac
plans to attend Texas Tech University, major in business management, and pursue a career in
oilfield sales.

the 2025 TAPPS Baseball and Football State Championship teams. He is an active member of
