More New at Huntsville Airport. Renovations are very close to completion and new furniture has partially arrived. Looking forward to hosting more traffic and guests into the City of Huntsville! And although we appreciate the vintage look of the current conference room chairs; they are being replaces as well! Great space to hold small meetings and or train with your CFI as you take a break from the skies this summer.

Another new edition. The first of several crew cars that will be available for transient pilots and crews to explore our great city.

Runway Update: Second layer of asphalt is complete. Waiting on the 10-day cure period before paint goes down.

I spy something new at the Huntsville Airport! 2nd layer of asphalt starting tomorrow and can’t wait to see that upgrade! Long time coming and going to be fantastic.

1st layer of the asphalt is on the ground! A little cure time and then the top layer will take about 4 days. More cure time and then striping. We can’t wait for everyone to swing through to grab some cheap fuel while you check out the FBO renovations.

Less than 60 days out the runway reconstruction project is set to be complete and we will all be flying in and out again. Who’s going to be the first to lay some rubber on the new paint markings? FBO remodel is 95 percent complete and open for business. And guess what’s coming down the pipeline next?…. Drumroll……..

Approach into 36! It’s already in the works and everyone coming in from the south I know is excited for that to be come a reality.

Get ready to come see us when we open back up 100 percent. Word on the street is fuel price will be down for a bit as a welcome back gift to all the aviators in the area:)!

A lot of activity the last few days out on the runway reconstruction project! New date for runway completion and opening is mid-May! Crews are really stepping up to complete early while we have good weather.
