A TORNADO WARNING has been issued for areas including the UAH campus. Seek shelter immediately! Remain in campus protective area until all clear issued by UAH.

This week the UAH Police Department proudly celebrates National Public Safety Telecommunications Week. We would like to celebrate the voices who remain calm in chaos, steady in crisis, and unwavering in purpose.

A special recognition goes out to our outstanding training officers—Christina Garner, Dustin Malone, and Wendalyn Prater—who go above and beyond to mentor, guide, and shape the next generation of telecommunicators. Your leadership and commitment are essential to our success.

We also want to highlight Isabelle Van Duren and Brittany Liddell, our newest team members, who are working hard and showing great dedication throughout their training. Your effort and determination are helping build a strong future for our team.

Congratulations, Ofc Camp!

Please join us in congratulating Officer Camp on completing the Police Academy!

As he moves into the next phase of his field training, we’re excited to welcome him to being one step closer to becoming a solo officer within our department, and serving the UAH community. We look forward to all he will accomplish.

The UAH Police Department would like to welcome our newest member. Ofc Brett Jones comes to us with former military experience as a Navy SEAL, and fully certified with former policing experience with Owens Cross Roads PD and New Hope PD. He will serve UAH as the Police Training Coordinator.
