We have completed another year at Ronald McNair JHS. We have weathered the COVID pandemic and are still McNair Strong. As we begin our summer break, remember to enjoy your family and friends, but please keep your health and well-being first. Ronald McNair will be hosting a Summer Learning Academy from June 7th through July 1st - Monday through Thursday. Afterwards, no one will be in the building until July 6, 2021. We look forward to serving you again, at that time. HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!

Jemison Jags Soccer Players

Congratulations to these McNair students as they play on the varsity team for Jemison: Yamir Perez, Roberto Aleman, Alexander Quiroz, Bryan Giles, Jareth Roman Rayo, Albert Nabor Jr, Anthony Martinez, & Alfredo Martinez.

Attention parents and guardians, NACEE came to celebrate the completion of an 8th grade assignment (submit 3 career goals) and promote their program by providing students with pizza and soda. A Lee High School student, Dr. Noah Rick's, and Dr. Lashonda Brown addressed the students about how to complete the applications and how to return them.

So proud of my Greenpower boys and girls teams 🛣 from McNair Middle School. They competed in the Toyota Classic Greenpower Electric Car 🚘 Race on yesterday. The students worked hard to design and prepare their electric cars for the 90-minute endurance race.
When my students first arrived, they felt a little out of place and were very uncertain about just being present. No one at the race looked 🪞 like them and that made them very uncomfortable. Luckily, they worked through this 🧠 mind-block. Despite experiencing some ups and downs we finished the entire race. Two local stations approached my students and asked to interview the team. It made their day!! ☀️ My students went from believing that they didn’t belong to feeling like they were on top of the world 🌎!!
