SHSU String Pedagogy Workshop for Music Educators

The workshop runs June 9- 11, 2025, and is in person on the campus of SHSU in Huntsville. Online participants are welcomed. Participants will work with outstanding teachers and will be offered excellent pedagogical resources for beginning through advanced students. Accomplished teachers and musicians will address the significant issues of pedagogy, best practices, and creating success for students. The schedule will allow time for personal interaction with presenters and participants and is focused on giving teachers strong pedagogical tools and resources to use them well. Our workshop came to a close yesterday with three great presentations by Professor Hansen of , of and of the .symphony. also gave an inspirational talk about his early beginnings in music education and gave our participants wonderful career advice. See you at the next workshop June 12-14 2023!
