Toddlers brains are constantly growing to notice sooo many things like patterns, shapes, and colors to name a few. This natural behavior helps them make sense of the world around them, feel more in control of their space, and build early math and thinking skills through regular play and intentionally planned activities.

Grouping by color, size, or shape is an important developmental milestone for cognition, encouraging them to compare, organize as well as reasoning skills needed to complete a task.

Picking up and moving small objects builds hand strength and coordination.

Brain growth and critical thinking happens when children begin to spot both differences as well as similarities like color, size, or shape.

Early math skills are strengthened by grouping items, sorting, and classifying. These activities help with number sense.

Visual-spatial awareness is strengthened when children begin to line things up or place objects in order. These activities teach them how things fit in a space.

Simple conversations during fun activities is a great way to build bonds between adults and children as well as strong language skills while building vocabulary.
