Space Academy for Educators Are you a teacher that loves space? Whether you have been to Space Academy for Educators or not, this is the place for you!

We will share space related news, resources and events as well as give you a place to engage and share your ideas and experiences. If you are ready to step out of the box and into mission training to learn methods for delivering the excitement of space exploration into your classroom, come to Space Academy® for Educators! ncludes authentic astronaut training simulators and activities developed to promote learning in a classroom setting. The curriculum includes NASA-inspired lesson plans and is correlated to the National Science Education Standards. Trainees in Space Academy for Educators earn up to 45 hours of Continuing Education credit and educators get access to their own website with lesson plans, standards and tips needed to adapt many of the workshop activities to individual class environments. Space Academy for Educators is offered from June through August. Housing, program materials and meals are included in the tuition.

Mark your calendars! Join the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center for International Observe the Moon Night on Saturday, September 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Davidson Center. 🧢🌎

Hosted by NASA’s Planetary Missions Program office, this free event celebrates our Moon with free activities such as hands-on STEM fun, telescope viewing with the Von Braun Astronomical Society, face-painting, talks by NASA experts, a photo booth, a DJ with live music, a science stage show, and much more! 🌔

Students in grades 1–6 are invited to submit their artwork for a chance to see their creativity shine at Galaxy of Lights 2026! Selected artwork will be transformed into illuminated art panels and featured during Galaxy of Lights, November 13–December 31.
