Covid-19 Update:

The main office of North Alabama Center Educational Excellence (NACEE) remains open for business. However, due to the COVID-19 virus, we are taking measures to reduce unnecessary exposure and population density. Contact with the public will be conducted in-person, by telephone (256) 372-4600, and via email. We are continuing to assist with students and veterans concerns regarding educational concerns, such as financial aid and online education platforms. (Face covering is required during assistance with services)

NACEE is continuously monitoring the impact of COVID-19 and adhering to CDC recommendations to ensure our work environment promotes health and safety to our employees. We have detailed plans in place to protect our personnel and limit the spread of disease. The majority of NACEE employees have returned to work. Meetings with clients and/or coworkers are being done in-person and virtually. We have resumed site-visits to our office from clients and partners. A core team of essential personnel has been established to ensure the decisions we make are based on the most current information and focused on the well-being of our employees, or clients, and our community.

The NACEE Board of Directors and Administration sends our thoughts and prayers to everyone who has been affected by COVID-19. We are appreciative of the healthcare professionals who are attending to the sick and working tirelessly to contain the spread of this disease. Again, the health, well-being, and safety of our employees, students, clients, and partners and community remain our number one priority. For further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us via phone or email.

It is with a heavy heart that I share with each of you that our dear NACEE Family Team Member, Ms. Priscilla Cowart passed away this morning. So much can be said about the nearly 20 years of dedicated service, support, and contributions Ms. Cowart gave to the administration, staff, students, and community during her employment with NACEE. She will forever remain in our thoughts, prayers, and hearts as we move forward working with the TRiO students to whom she dedicated her life.
