A major milestone for research!

Dr. Jerome Baudry, Pei-Ling Chan Chair and chair of the UAH Department of Biological Sciences, helped UAH secure a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) contract to support the Microsystems Induced CAtalysis (MICA) program. The award marks the first DARPA contract ever granted to UAH Biological Sciences.

This project uses advanced computer simulations to predict and control how tiny molecules behave, helping scientists design smarter experiments that could lead to breakthroughs in medicine, materials and national security technologies.
