Congrats to the team at Buckhorn!

One thing all of us at SouthCoast have always shared is the goal of working in the drum corps activity. Like so many others, watching DCI videos and performances when we were younger pushed us to practice harder and to perform at that level. Just as importantly, it inspired us to begin arranging, designing, and building shows of our own. If not for the drum corps activity, our lives would look immeasurably different.

That’s why we’re incredibly excited to share that we’ve signed a multi-year agreement with Memphis Blues Drum and Bugle Corps to provide Music Design, Horn Arrangements, Percussion Arrangements, Sound Design, and Drill.

The instructional and administrative teams are outstanding. We have known and collaborated with many of these teachers for years at other organizations, and we have seen firsthand their ability to develop marchers, players, and performers.

The tour schedule allows performers to still have part of their summer at home with family and with your program, and the dues ($3,000) are significantly lower than most other corps. Move-ins begin June 27, and the season concludes in August in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium.

If you have students who are interested in performing this summer, we would be grateful if you would encourage them to pursue this opportunity with Memphis Blues!
