Hendrickson's Last Lecture Series Set For Oct. 2 That’s the idea behind the Last Lecture Series, which was started after Randy Pausch, professor of computer science, human-computer interaction and design at Carnegie Mellon University, gave his lecture titled, “The Last Lecture: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams,” on Sept. 18, 2007.
