โ๏ธ โก โ POSTPONED โ โก โ๏ธ
Dear Operation STEER Attendees,
It is with sincere disappointment that we share an important update regarding this weekendโs Operation STEER event in Prosper.
After closely monitoring the forecast, which shows a strong likelihood of severe weather including heavy rain and thunderstorms, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the event. With an 85% probability of significant storms, we have serious concerns not only about on-site safety, but also about travel conditions for those driving or flying in from across the region.
In addition, several key components of Operation STEER are designed to take place outdoors. Under the projected weather conditions, those sessions could not be conducted safely or effectively. Because the safety of every participant is our highest priority, postponement is the most responsible decision.
Please know this was not an easy choice. A tremendous amount of planning, preparation, and heart has gone into this event. Operation STEER is more than a conference โ it is an experience that brings together individuals who are deeply committed to student transportation safety. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your understanding.
At this time, a new date has not yet been selected. We are actively working to secure an alternate date and will share updates as soon as they are confirmed.
Please continue to monitor the following for the most current information and next steps:
