🥁🎶 Congratulations to our Marching Highlander Band! ❤️🖤

Our Highlander Band earned an overall rating of III (Good) at today’s competition! It was a tough day of competition, with many bands receiving ratings of II and III and very few earning a I.

We are proud of our students and their hard work, dedication, and commitment to representing Scott High School!

Congratulations to Brandy Rogers, Scott High School’s 2027 Teacher of the Year!

The greatest teachers do more than teach lessons. They make students feel valued, supported, and cared for. They recognize that sometimes the most important thing they can do for a student has nothing to do with the subject they teach. Mrs. Brandy Rogers embodies this kind of educator. She understands that building relationships, meeting students' needs, and simply being there when they need someone can make a lasting difference in their lives.

We are incredibly proud to recognize Mrs. Rogers as Scott High School’s 2027 Teacher of the Year! What makes this honor especially meaningful is that she was nominated by the students and selected by a vote of her fellow teachers. There is no greater testament to the impact of a teacher than being recognized by the very students she serves each day.

Mrs. Rogers is much more than an outstanding science teacher. She works tirelessly to ensure her students are taken care of and consistently goes above and beyond to support our entire school. Whether she is helping a student, stepping in to cover a class without being asked, fundraising, or recognizing something that needs to be done, Mrs. Rogers is a DOER! She doesn't wait to be asked, and she certainly doesn't seek recognition. She simply sees a need and takes action.

Her dedication, selflessness, and servant's heart represent everything we value at Scott High School. She leads by example and reminds us that making a difference often comes from the little things we do for others every single day.

Congratulations, Mrs. Rogers! This recognition is incredibly well deserved. Thank you for loving our students, supporting your colleagues, and making Scott High School a better place. We are blessed to have you as part of our Highlander family!
