QUALITY OF LIFE PROGRAM

The Operation Nehemiah Quality of Life Program (QLP) of the Union Hill Personal Growth Center (UHPGC) is an eight-week student-training program for elementary, middle & high school students. The program is designed to improve the quality of life for youth and to motivate these youth to consider and choose professional careers. This program is a complementary, noncompetitiv

e approach, which seeks to combine aspects from various other programs into a single approach. It addresses some of the major factors contributing to the horrible, yet ever-increasing, cyclic and systematic destruction of the lives of so many young men and women. The program has the following components: (1) educational/tutorial; (2) image enhancement; (3) recreation; (4) spiritual development; and (5) family orientation. The QLP participants will consist of elementary through high school students (ages 6-18). An application form must be filed with and approved by the Quality of Life Program Office in order to participate.
