Our final senior spotlight is on Rheagan Morris! She has served for 2 years and is graduating a certified teacher with a degree in 4-8 Math Education. After graduation, she is returning to Klein ISD to teach 6th grade math!
Rheagan fav memory: One of my favorite memories as an ambassador was my first time working pinning ceremony. Being able to see the joy and excitement of these new Bearkat teachers was so exciting and encouraging for me!
Her advice: it’s okay to not know everything and to make mistakes, after all we are still learning and growing! Be patient with yourself, your students are lucky to have you!!
We will miss you. Rheagan! 🤍

Our next senior spotlight is Kristine Lara! She has served for 3 years and will be graduating with a degree in History and Education. After graduation, Kristine plans on working for admissions at a university while she begins her masters in Higher Administration!
Kristine’s favorite memory: “When I interviewed our current president Natalie. She was such a great light, and I knew she was going to make a great ambassador. We also like to say she bribed us because she crocheted us little octopus as a gift 😂. Which I still have to this day.”
Kristines advice to students: “Say yes to new experiences and opportunities. Even if they are out of your comfort zone. You never know what can come about them.”
We will miss you, Kristine! 🤍

Our next senior spotlight is on Brakari Granberry-Session! She has served as an ambassador for 3 years and treasurer for 2. She is graduating with a degree in History and Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education. After graduating, Brakari will begin her masters in Higher Administration with hopes to one day be the president of a university!!
Brakari’s favorite part of ambassadors: Our monthly meetings are truly a great opportunity for us to all see each other but also catch up with each other. we have ranges of conversations from field experience, classes, or even just life. Let me tell you we like to talk but for hours, just because we genuinely love and care for each other. I am going to miss seeing everyone once a month but I know the ambassador family will continue to thrive with its amazing members. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of an amazing organization here at SHSU!!🧡🤍 🐾
We will miss you, Brakari!

Our next senior to spotlight is Alayne Stancik! Alayne has served for 3 semesters and will be graduating a certified teacher with a degree in Agriculture and Education. After graduation, we will begin her journey of teaching high school agriculture classes!
Alayne’s advice to future educators: “Even on the days when teaching feels overwhelming, remember that you don’t have to be perfect to make a difference, just showing up and caring about your students matters. Little moments add up more than you think.”
We will miss you, Alayne! 🤍

First senior spotlight is on Abigail Brent!! Abby has been an ambassador for 3 semester, and served as secretary for 2. She is graduating a certified teacher with a degree in EC-6 Core Education with an ESL certification. After graduating, Abby will return to Conroe ISD as a 3rd grade math/science teacher!
Abby’s fav ambassador memory: Getting to meet future teachers at events and seeing the moment when they realized they belonged at SHSU COE too. It reminded me why I started and how much it means to me!
Her advice: build relationships, stay flexible, and don’t be afraid to learn as you go. You won’t have it all figured out and that’s totally okay! The way you show up for your students will always matter more than having the most perfect lessons.
We will miss you, Abby!
