Delta Tau Delta - Epsilon Zeta Chapter

The Epsilon Zeta Chapter is proud to announce the election of our new chapter President for 2026, Caden Criner. After serving as Vice President this past year, Caden has demonstrated steady leadership and a strong commitment to the chapter, and we’re excited to see him continue that momentum in this next role.

Thank you to our outgoing President, Mason Moore, and the entire 2025 Executive Board for their dedication and leadership this year. Your work has helped set a high bar for what’s ahead.

This honor reflects the relentless dedication, integrity, and pursuit of excellence our brothers demonstrate every day. It’s a great day to be a Delt!

Today marks the 65th anniversary of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity planting its flag at SHSU. On this date in 1960 Delt became the first Men’s Fraternity on campus, following in the footsteps of the Esquires Men’s Social Club who founded our chapter at SHSU. It’s a GREAT day to be a DELT!!

This weekend we welcomed six men into our Epsilon Beta Pledge Class! Our focus was on recruiting the highest quality men to continue Delt’s legacy as recognized leaders on campus and in our community.

Yesterday alumni Bros. Bruno Cavazos and Miles Kenny joined us at chapter as a part of our Speaker Series. These men came from very different backgrounds, and became lifelong brothers as members of Delta Tau Delta at SHSU. Both have gone on to lead very successful careers, while living by the principles and values developed during their time in chapter.

It was great to hear their unique stories, lessons learned from the trials and tribulations life brings, and gain valuable career insights. We’re incredibly fortunate to have such a strong alumni network supporting our brotherhood!

It’s that time of year again for our letter competition! We gave each sorority the opportunity to paint letters for the chance to win $200 for their philanthropy! The letters with the most likes and comments win. Voting will end next Saturday the 19th at 12pm!
