September is Attendance Awareness Month! As a part of our FamiLEE, we want you to know that YOUR PRESENCE MATTERS! Every day a student is in school is another opportunity to learn, grow, connect, and succeed. Did you know that missing just 2 days of school each month can add up to 18 days in a school year? Consistent attendance makes a difference—not only academically, but also in helping students feel connected, confident, and supported. This September, we’re challenging our students, families, schools, and community to make attendance a priority!

Shout-out to the Lee High School Freshmen of the Week! Kaidanse Baker comes to us from Morris Middle School. Here at Lee, she is a part of the Freshmen Volleyball team and the Visual Arts Magnet. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and working out. After graduating from Lee, she wants to go to college and pursue a career as a marine biologist or a lawyer. Isaac Crosson is a part of the Film & Video magnet here at Lee. In his free time, he enjoys playing videogames and hanging out with friends. After graduating from Lee, he wants to go to college and pursue a creative career in film, videogames, acting, and writing. Congratulations to both of them for representing our FamiLEE values so well!
