Challenger Elementary received a bookshelf filled with books, sponsored by Madison County SWCD, to learn where our FOOD, FUEL & FIBER comes from!

𝑻𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈... and we 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 appreciate the generosity of the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville Education's Fund for awarding CES PTA with a $1000 grant for our STEMazing minds project! ❤

The STEMazing Minds project will provide hands-on ways to introduce the 4th and 5th grade students of Challenger Elementary to coding and design through robotics and Greenpower racing. We plan to then have our older students go into the younger classrooms and teach their fellow students the joy of coding and design.

This project will give students an opportunity to create meaningful design projects to be used throughout the school year and teach them to problem solve through fun hands-on building. The Challenger Elementary STEMazing Minds project will provide a strong stimulus for motivating ALL students to pursue addition STEM subjects, by facilitating students to actively acquire knowledge and skills in processing information in STEM. ❤🦅❤
