Alabama A&M University TRiO - Upward Bound

Alabama A&M University TRiO - Upward Bound Upward Bound is a federally funded program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education. 104 eligib WHAT IS UPWARD BOUND? Department of Education.

The program at Alabama A&M University serves 104 eligible high school students. These students attend or are zoned for Huntsville City and Madison County Schools: J.O. Johnson, Lee High, Jemison, Buckhorn, Hazel Green, Sparkman, and Sparkman 9 Grade Schools. PROGRAM COMPONENTS
Upward Bound is a year round program that is comprised of two components - residential (summer) and academic. Participant

s are required to attend both components until they graduate from high school. The summer residential component is six weeks. Room and board is provided for students to live on the campus of Alabama A&M University.
