My last residency in Cleveland this semester is complete. A HUGE thank you to Michigan Avenue Elementary School (Cara Rogers, music teacher) and Prospect Elem (Sarah Burris, music teacher) for hosting me this past week.

And another shout-out to Arts in Education and Business Council of Cleveland/Bradley County for their continued support of my visits! We could not do this without y'all!

Hey, Huntsville folks! I'll be teaching another session at the Burritt on the Mountain Folk School on Saturday, May 16 from 1p to 3p. Come on out and learn how to play some bodhrán with me.

Another fabulous week at the John C. Campbell Folk School! We learned how to play several tune types, talked about all aspects of the wee drum, discussed other ways to continue learning, and ended the week with a fabulous performance at the Closing Ceremonies. A HUGE thank you to Mary Beth, Ellen, Laura, Pat, Trudy, and Tom for working with me this week!

I’m looking forward to a great week of teaching the wee drum at the John C. Campbell Folk School!

Thank you all so much! House of Hamill put on a fabulous SOLD OUT show last night in the space formerly known as Flying Monkey Arts at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment. In addition, HoH set up a food drive at this event. We'll be delivering 68 lbs. of food items to the Food Bank of North Alabama.

We couldn't have done any of this without y'all!

So many good tunes.

A chance to see old friends, and to make new ones.

Another chance to share the drum that I love so much with others. 

May we never take stuff like this for granted.
