Good morning! During the eclipse, I will reflect on how good the Lord has been to me over the years.

🐦 🎶 🎵 A singing bird woke me up this morning. It had to be on my window ledge because the sound was so clear and excellent. It sang the same 4 notes as I lay there. When I raised up in bed, it stopped. To be sure, I laid down again, and the singing started again. So, I raised up, and (believe it or not), the singing stopped. Being the curious individual I am, I googled this phenomena to see what the spiritual connotation behind it was:
"What does it mean when you hear a bird sing spiritually?
The spiritual meaning of hearing birds chirping may be a sign that the universe is working to answer your prayers and that they have been heard. Hearing a bird's song might be a sign that something positive is going to occur in your life because birds are the totem animal for fresh beginnings."

Tornado Watch issued for 7 North Alabama counties

The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a Tornado Watch until 9 p.m. Tuesday for seven counties in North Alabama and three counties in southern Tennessee.

The Alabama counties are: Colbert, Franklin, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison and Morgan.

The Tennessee counties are: Franklin, Lincoln and Moore.

Turn to WAAY 31 for everything you need to know to stay safe during severe weather. Chief Meteorologist Jeff Castle, Morning Meteorologist Grace Anello and Meteorologist Amber Kulick will provide you with the most accurate information on storms by using our Triple Doppler radars.
