What an awesome first day of the North West Huntsville Honor Band! The students are off to a great start and 3 of our own MSOS Seniors were awarded band scholarships to Miles College! Many thanks to Professors Snipes and Nalls! The event's culminating concert will be today at 1:00 pm at Lee High School Theatre. See you there!!

Congratulations to Jemison High student Lorenzo-Rashad Stewart who won 1st place in the Fall 2021 State of Alabama Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Virtual Youth Talent Hunt Competition while representing the Nu Epsilon Chapter at Alabama A&M University. He took home a $750 grand prize and will go on to represent the state of Alabama in the 8th 7th District Meeting this Friday, April 8, in Atlanta Georgia. Way to go!
