MADISON COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM - RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

This Madison County School System campus social media page aims to share important information about the district and campus with the public and engage in an open and respectful dialogue. To help us accomplish this goal, we ask that you abide by the following guidelines:

- Be respectful. Personal attacks or comments that are deemed offensive to any member of our community will not be tolerated. Inappropriate remarks and profanity will be removed.

- Want to boost your product sales? Publish a personal page, and leave ours for sharing news and insights about our district.

- Stay on topic. This page is dedicated to educating students in the Madison County School System and this school. Comments are welcome as long as they directly relate to a topic.

- Have a question for a specific employee? Contact them privately. Fans should not expect responses to every question or comment on this page.

- Be aware of the mission. The mission of Madison County School System and this school is education. Please ensure your comments are appropriate for an educational environment and fans of all ages.

- Be factual; blatantly inaccurate information will not be allowed. MCSS social media managers will remove false information and post accurate information.

- All comments and communication must come from a verifiable account. Statements made by individuals who misrepresent themselves, representing themselves as someone other than themselves or from unverifiable accounts, will be removed.

- Employees of the Madison County School System and this school may have personal pages. Don’t be surprised or offended if your request to “friend” them is ignored. Cafeteria visitors will be allowed starting on Tuesday, September 8th. Please remember our policies when visiting the MtCS cafeteria.
-If another relative comes to eat lunch without the parent, they must be listed as a contact for your child.
For the safety of all students and staff, you must always show your ID and sign in at the front desk. You will check out and exit campus immediately following lunch.
-You may eat with your child in our special seating area on the stage in the cafeteria.
-Families are welcome to send store-bought, commercially packaged birthday treats for the class. All treats must arrive in their original packaging with a complete ingredient label so teachers can review allergy information if needed.
-To maintain consistency and support our cafeteria procedures, outside restaurant meals or food (such as Happy Meals, pizza, or any other restaurant items) may not be brought to school for birthday celebration or for joining your child for lunch.

A visit with Officer Terry = curiosity + smiles! 🚓✨
Our self-contained units closed their “I Can Follow the Rules” unit with a hands-on visit from Officer Terry. The students got up close to a real police car, asked great questions, and enjoyed a playful “police car cooking” activity that made learning rules extra fun. Huge thanks to Officer Terry for bringing community learning to life! 💙👮‍♂️
