A Drawing based Club The Drawing Club of SHSU was founded in March of 2013.
The purpose of this organization is to promote student art work, and encourage the community involvement in the arts. The Drawing Club of SHSU is open to all Sam Houston State University students; any student interested in the arts may participate in the organization, including art majors and non-art majors.

**UPDATE**
Howdy Drawing Club, Paulo here. I know its been a funky few months and allot of the clubs kinda went silent. Don't worry we are still here and trying to get things back up and running and back to normal. THIS WEDNESDAY at 5 pm we will have a drawing club meeting through zoom. Welcome back Drawing Club Crew! Hope everyone had a great winter break, and a great New Years. Drawing Club is coming back this next Wednesday the 29th at 6pm in the Art Complex. Come join us in drawing, and fun as we kick off the Spring semester 2020
