Epworth UMC MDO, Preschool & Kindergarten

Yesterday, Pastor Jeff and Janine Taylor (Director of Epworth UMC MDO, Preschool & Kindergarten) joined several other UMC clergy, staff and members from around the area to tour and learn about the National Children's Advocacy Center located right here in Huntsville.

What an amazing place! Medical care, therapy, and training are just a few of the services they provide to children who are victimized by abuse and their families.

We spent some time learning how we can all work to create a culture of prevention and not just response, and we look forward to sharing what we’ve learned with our churches and teachers.

I’m sure you’ll hear even more about it in the coming weeks and months!

Epworth UMC MDO, Preschool & Kindergarten Summer Camp program will open as scheduled tomorrow morning, Monday, June 8th. Please be aware of road conditions due to the flooding, we understand some of our campers will remain home and some may be a little late. If we have any changes to our opening time tomorrow we will keep you informed. We hope our Epworth family is staying safe and dry after today’s rainfall!

We have had a fun filled first week of Summer Camp! This week we learned about a few famous artists, some of their art, and we even tried to paint and create our own masterpieces! The children also had a blast with a few science experiments and even some cooking! Thanks for sharing your kiddos with us this week and we are looking forward to some sun-sational fun while learning and crafting everything sun, sand & sea next week. Have a great weekend!

Today is the last day of school at Epworth UMC MDO, Preschool & Kindergarten! This is a day full of pride, nostalgia, and the realization that time moves way too quickly.
As we close the door on another wonderful school year, our hearts are full of gratitude and joy. What an incredible year it has been! We have laughed, learned, loved, grown, and made so many special memories together.
It has been an absolute blessing to watch your children explore, discover and shine in their own unique ways throughout this school year. From little milestones to BIG accomplishments, we are so very proud of each and every one of them!
Thank you for trusting us with your precious children and for being such a supportive and caring school & church family.
We hope your summer is filled with sunshine, laughter, and lots of special moments together. We can't wait to see you again soon!
