We are so proud of the RoboWarriors for earning the opportunity to compete with the top 3% of teams in the nation in New York! Led by Mr. Bailey, the team competed fiercely, showcased their skills with excellence, and had a lot of fun in the Big Apple. Highlights included a visit to Ellis Island, Liberty Island, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the Empire State Building, Central Park, and Gayle’s Broadway Rose. The future is bright for the RoboWarriors, and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish next! 🚀🤖🏆

What a beautiful start to our Family Ambassador Program!

The McNew & LaVigne Families had the sweetest time kicking things off at dinner last night as we begin welcoming new families into The Academy. One of the most special things about our school is that from the very beginning, no one walks in alone. We are all one family in Christ, and it is such a gift to love and support one another through every season.

This summer, we are welcoming 135+ new faces to our school family, and we could not be more excited! What an incredible blessing to watch our community continue to grow. As we welcome these new families, let’s all be intentional about being a light, extending kindness, and making every person who walks through our doors feel seen, loved, and at home.

We can’t wait to meet each and every new face!

Congratulations to the Miller Team Fine Arts Student of the Year—Kendall Drieling!

Mrs. Dove says, “Kendall carries herself with such confidence and reckless creativity—to clarify, I don’t mean reckless in a negative way—I mean she has always pushed the creative boundaries, thought outside the box, and been the first one willing to try something new. . . even if the end result wasn’t the beautiful thing she’d hoped it might be—her willingness to dive into the creative process without fear of failure or social acceptance allowed her to learn and grow so much through the process, to achieve a truly authentic and powerful visual voice. It has been the most rewarding thing to see her mature through her years in high school—still recklessly creative and full of zeal and passion, and incredible technical skill, but focused and with more depth and thoughtfulness than is often seen in a high school art student.

In addition to her note-worthy accomplishments in the Upper School art room, she also served as our NAHS President this year, developing new and exciting opportunities for members to grow their artistic skills and serve His Kingdom through those skills. She personally spent well over 30 hours outside of class to help design and paint our (almost complete) 25th anniversary mural in the Upper School, and this spring she served as an art teacher intern with Ms. Geron in the Grammar School—igniting a new passion within her to develop the next generation of recklessly creative, passionately thoughtful, and technically skilled artists. It’s my distinct pleasure to recognize Kendall Drieling as the Fine Arts Student of the Year for 2026!”

Kendall receives $1,000 from the Miller Team as the yearly winner. The Academy is so grateful for Leah and Darin Miller for their generous investment into our Fine Arts program and students!
