🎉 Big congratulations to Dr. Kamphol Wipawayangkool and Alvin Madathil, President of the IT Student Association (ITSA), for their outstanding research presentation at the 18th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium (URS)! 👏
Their project, "Malware Awareness and Information Security Compliance: Insights from Latin American University Students and GenAI Comparisons," explored how malware awareness influences Gen-Z students' security behaviors — with help from generative AI to validate their findings. 🤖📚
Alvin delivered an exceptional presentation, earning perfect scores from the faculty moderator and praise for his clarity, engaging delivery, and practical insights. 🌟
Their research underscores the need for tailored cybersecurity education and shows how AI can enhance — not replace — human-led analysis.
Way to represent the MIS program and ITSA with excellence! 🙌💻
