Thanks to the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, RHS Beta, Emerson Trotter had the opportunity to attend the Community and Economic Development Scholars Program at Huntingdon University last week. Participants were assigned a city and had to compete to land an industry choosing to locate in Alabama. Her team successfully "sold" the city of Gadsden and was selected to be the home of the new business, complete with a ribbon cutting and groundbreaking ceremony. This week, Emerson, who is also a summer intern for U.S. Representative Barry Moore, was able to attend a reception welcoming Dr. Kathy Murphy, the new President of Wallace Community College in Dothan, AL. We love to see our Betas do BIG things in Leadership! National Beta
