Before you start an assignment, open the rubric. Before you submit, check it again.

The rubric is the list of what the grade is made of, in the course’s own words. Checking a draft against it takes five minutes and often reveals something.

Newton Gresham Library serves students who never set foot in the building. The databases open from home with your SHSU login: journals, ebooks, newspapers, videos. Books and articles from other libraries arrive by mail or as a digital copy through Interlibrary Loan. A librarian is a chat, text, or email away when a search stalls.
