The College Fair is today! We cannot wait to see you all there at 5:30pm-7pm in the HHS Cafeteria.

Our college fair is just about 3 weeks away. On Tuesday, September 10th, at 5:30PM-7PM, in the HHS cafeteria! We would love to see everyone come and speak with the college reps!

Today we had Mr. Lynch, the Director of Advanced Technologies at NWACC, speak to HHS programming class about the Automation and Robotics Program!

The Automation and Robotics Program has a set deadline of August 30 and will last for 8 weeks. Students can sign up again in October for the last 8 weeks of the fall semester if they miss this deadline.
Cost: Free to HSD Students

Courses are offered Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:50 AM and 10:00 AM to 11:50 AM to fit students' schedules. Classes are available on both the Bentonville and Washington County campuses. For students interested in registering for the full semester, deadline is August 30th.

Benefits:
FANUC Robot Operator Certification:
Students will gain a highly respected certification in the robotics industry, equipping them with essential skills for operating and programming FANUC robots, which are widely used in manufacturing.
NCCER Electrical Certification:
This nationally recognized certification opens doors to various roles in the electrical industry, providing versatility in high-demand sectors.
Earn 12 Concurrent College Credits:
Students can earn 12 college credits while still in high school, giving them a head start on their college education and easing the transition to advanced coursework.
Flexible Career Pathways:
The program prepares students for various career options, including:
• Robotics Technician
• Automation Specialist
• Electrical Engineer
• Maintenance Technician
• Industrial Automation Engineer
Hands-On Training with Industry-Standard Equipment:
Practical, hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment ensures students are ready to meet the technical demands of employers.

Good morning! Mr. Ledbetter's last day is August 23rd - He is moving into a different role outside the district for career coaching. That being said, Mrs. Halle Gilreath Sehorn is our new career coach from NWACC. It is a different program, but she will still do many things that Mr. Ledbetter did! Mrs. Halle is incredibly excited to work with Huntsville students this year and we can't wait for them to meet her! As we prepare to head back to school, it is time for upper classmen, especially seniors, to start gearing up for college admissions. Our college fair will be on September 10th (just about a month away) at the HHS Cafeteria (594 S. Harris St.).

We encourage any student, parent, or interested community member to come visit with the college representatives and gain some valuable knowledge. They will be here starting at 5:30 PM and we will end around 7 PM.

We can't wait to see everyone!

We want to highlight that a couple of our students received some great news that they were accepted in the M*A*S*H* Camp this summer (Medical Applications for Science and Health). Those students are Yajaira Olivera and Yanexi Rodriguez! These girls went through an extensive application, that was highly competitive (there were an incredibly limited number of spots for NWA), and both were offered a spot. They will complete that camp this summer and gain hands-on, real world experience in the medical field! Congrats, Yajaira and Yanexi!

As we gear up for summer, here is one final post with some information that can often be asked over the summer. As a reminder, Mr. Ledbetter will be out this summer, but this should answer most questions. Have a great summer and good luck with what this next chapter brings!

Yesterday, we took our final trip of the year. Several students were able to visit with the lovely ladies at Meadowview and talk to them about becoming CNAs. They also received a tour and were able to ask all the questions they had. We are grateful for the opportunity and look forward to making a difference in these students' lives!

As we wrap up scholarship season, Mr. Ledbetter wanted to inform students and parents that he emailed the current juniors the list of scholarships. There is not much to do right now, they can change and requirements are different, but students can look at the scholarships to get a better idea for what they might need next year! Obviously, scholarships will be shared out next year with the updated criteria, but for the most part the components will be similar.
