𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱: Hermetics & Why Hanging with Humans is Still Worth the Effort 🫶

Last night’s Human Play Ground - Authentic Relating Games was truly something special.

We welcomed many new faces, and the most prominent feedback was surprise at how one can arrive to a room of strangers and leave feeling such closeness with these new people.

Here’s my biggest aha from last night:

In a post-pandemic world, many of us have deprioritized face-to-face interaction because it takes energy. 😮‍💨

We see it everywhere—

“I don’t feel like peopling today”
or
“I’m staying in with my cat and a movie.”
🍿 🎥🐈

And hey, I love doing that too-

⭐️𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩.🫶

Don’t forget that you will also 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 energy back. And you’ll grow stronger in the process.

In Modern Mystery School tradition, we teach the 7 Hermetic principles, two of which come to mind now:

The Hermetic principle of 𝙍𝙝𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙢—
natural ebb and flow between solitude and togetherness— reminds us that, while solitude is important for recharging, we are meant to swing back into connection.
Investing energy in human interaction is part of this rhythm.

The principle of 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 or
“As above, so below; as within, so without”—
reminds us that the work we do together in Human Play Ground becomes a reflection of what happens in our external lives.

As we practice sensing ourselves and then relating, these skills ripple out into our personal and professional lives. The energy we cultivate within the HPG container reflects out into the world around us. The microcosm of Human Play Ground comes to mirror the macrocosm of greater humanity, and our orientation to it.

Aka if you practice within a reality paradigm that says humanity is hostile, your life will feel that way and you’ll see the evidence of that belief everywhere.

But if you shift that practice to one of Love… and faith in others… and take the opportunities that they give you to show up… suddenly all of Humanity is showing up. Suddenly Shamballah is here, and we are jumping timelines for the better.

The holographic nature of our universe means that the efforts we put into these relationships, no matter how small, have a profound impact on the world, rippling far beyond what we might realize.

SO- even if you don’t always feel like coming out, remember that connection is an investment in both yourself and the collective human heart. As within, so without.
The human connection we practice here shapes your life outside of this space—in every relationship, every interaction, and every moment of presence you bring into the world.

I got a $13 Spider tattoo on Friday the 13th back in 2013. 🕸️🕷️

At the time, it just seemed like a badass ratchet thing to do. As with all of my tattoos… little did I know what magick would spring forth as a result!!

Behold! the secret Goddess code of Friday the 13th:

The number 13 numerological signifies transformation, rebirth, and the fusion of independence (1) with creativity (3).

In the **Hermetic and Solomonic** tradition 13 is a powerful number representing hidden wisdom, initiation, and spiritual ascension.

2013 was the year I did my Empower Thyself initiation with the Solomonic school I currently study in.

13 is also closely tied to the divine feminine, mirroring the **13 lunar cycles** And in the feminine menstrual cycle, the 13th day represents the midpoint between death (shedding) and life (ovulation). This sacred number guides us through cycles of creation, destruction, and enlightenment.

To top it off… Friday is the day of Venus. 🌸

Any time some smirks about Friday the 13th is unlucky, I think of how that little tattoo ushered me into a whole new trajectory of femininity and grace. **More on the secret of Grandmother Spider another time**🕷️🕸️

A balance point between life and death, 13 invites us to embrace the cyclical lunar journey, urges us transform and grow through challenge, and is the gateway to a new octave life. 🌒🌕🌘

AR Games are structured exercises and interactive games designed to foster deep connection, empathy, and understanding between participants.

The purpose of this work is to create an environment where individuals can explore authentic self-expression, genuine curiosity, and ultimately enhance their ability to relate more openly and truthfully in their everyday relationships.

Plus its FUN and the more you play, the weirder you get!!!🤪
