Seniors: Check in and confirm yourself for graduation. Need height and weight for those who are walking. Spread the word!

Class of 2026:

You have 39 days to finish all assignments, clear your accounts, and prepare for graduation. Please turn in work as you complete it, not everything at one time. Reminder - Email your projects to: [email protected] as an ATTACHMENT.
Please PDF them if possible and make sure the file is unlocked giving me access.

You have 10 weeks to complete everything.

Dress code:

Guys: Black pants (no jeans), black shoes (no gym shoes or boots), shirt & tie (bow tie is okay). There will be someone to assist you if you can't tie your tie.

Ladies: Either dress or skirt (color doesn't matter) or nice black dress pants, Black shoes (no gym shoes or boots and make sure you can walk in them).

Both: Make sure your hair is such that you can put your cap on. If you have braids, locks, etc. bring some extra hair pins.

Everybody: Personalized sashes and stoles are not allowed during the ceremony. There will be a location in the hall to take pictures after the ceremony and you can wear it then.

Your cap and gown are black and your tassel is maroon and white.

***LONG POST*** ***IMPORTANT INFORMATION***

Everyone that is graduating needs to check in by April 15 to clear any assignments, catch up any fees, and pay your grad fee of $275. You will also receive information about the schedule for that day and your dress code for the ceremony. Before you buy outfits, please check with Ms. Rand. Especially the guys for their pants and shoes and the ladies for their shoes.
You will receive 7 free tickets. Extras will be $10 each, cash only, paid for before graduation. They will not be sold at graduation!

If you work and are participating in the ceremony, take the day off.
If you are not participating in the ceremony, you can pick up your diploma the week of May 18.

If you have been awarded any scholarships, going to a school other than Drake or Calhoun, or enlisting in the military, let Ms. Rand know as soon as possible.To send any transcripts to colleges, use parchment.com.
