Big dreams can start very small. 💛 At Village of Promise, investing in children starts from the very beginning. Through Precious Promises, qualified families can access childcare for children as young as six weeks through age four at little or no cost. And through First Class Pre-K, four-year-olds have the opportunity to build the skills and confidence that help prepare them for school and a lifetime of learning.

But early childhood education does more than prepare a child for the classroom. It gives parents support, helps families move forward, and surrounds children with a village that believes in their potential from day one.

We love seeing education extend beyond the classroom! 📚

This fall, two of our community partners, UAH and Drake State, are teaming up for a student-led consulting initiative that gives UAH business students the opportunity to put their knowledge to work on real challenges facing local organizations. Students will gain hands-on professional experience while contributing research, ideas, and fresh perspectives right here in Huntsville!

Opportunities like this are a great reminder of what’s possible when education and community come together. When students have opportunities to apply what they’re learning, they’re building skills that can carry them into their careers and communities.

We’re excited to see local institutions creating more pathways for students to learn, grow, and contribute! ❤️

This senior leadership role is an opportunity to help fuel a mission that is making a lasting difference for children and families in our community. The Director of Development will lead our comprehensive fundraising strategy, strengthening donor relationships, expanding partnerships, growing contributed revenue, and helping build a sustainable future for our organization.

We’re looking for someone who understands that development is about more than raising funds, it’s about building relationships, connecting people to purpose, and creating opportunities for greater impact.

Today, we pause to celebrate the parents who have made the courageous decision to keep going.

Because while they’re working toward a better tomorrow, little eyes are watching, little feet are following, and little hearts are learning what perseverance looks like.

Every step forward becomes an example their children can carry with them for years to come.

When a parent chooses not to give up, they’re changing more than their own story. They’re changing the story of the generation coming behind them.
