Not only were we advocating for Alabama Space Grant in D.C. last week, our Outreach Coordinator, Melissa Simmons, rallied higher education student groups across the state to showcase academic aerospace activities at the 2025 Alabama Space Day in Montgomery. K-12 students from around our State's Capitol were invited to participate in astronaut chats, lawn activities, and exhibits. A few of our groups even met with local representatives to highlight the work Alabama Space Grant is doing. Everyone had a blast! 🚀

We are pleased to introduce our Fellows and Scholars for the 2024-2025 academic year!
The 2025-2026 ASGC Fellowship and Scholarship applications are LIVE now! The application deadline is Monday, March 3rd, 2025, and the letter of recommendation is due by midnight, Monday, March 10th, 2025. We also have a teacher educator scholar for pre-service teachers in Science and Mathematics. Pre-service teacher applicants should apply via the regular scholarship application link, but check the box that asks if you are a teacher educator scholar.

Scholarships are for junior/senior in STEM fields, and fellowships are for graduate level Masters/Ph.D. students in STEM fields with a NASA Mission Directorate alignment. Link to applications on our website (www.uah.edu/asgc/applications)📝
