We're excited to welcome keynote speaker Kerry Magro, who will also be signing copies of his book, Supporting Your Autism Journey, which every participant will receive as part of their conference experience. Lunch is included, and attendees will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of breakout sessions designed to support autistic learners across settings and age groups.

This past week, 12 PDIs from across Region 6 learned about Jet: A Fast-Paced Reading Intervention for grades 7+. We will continue our training throughout the year with instructors from Scottish Rite for Children. Nine of our PDIs will participate in additional training and coaching sessions in order to obtain their certification as a CALP - Certified Academic Language Practitioner.

Join us for the Region 6 Autism Conference on July 9th, from 9:00–3:00, in person at the service center.

Our keynote speaker, Kerry Magro, will share his personal experiences and perspectives as an autistic individual. His book, Supporting Your Autism Journey, is included with registration, and attendees will also have the opportunity to attend his breakout session and participate in a book signing.

Participants can choose from a wide range of breakout sessions covering topics such as sensory supports, academic accommodations, behavior strategies, social skills, assistive technology, Gestalt Language Processing, and more.

This conference is also a great opportunity to connect with fellow educators, exchange ideas, and learn from one another.
