Look familiar? These are the new stickers that you will be seeing in bathrooms and on your refrigerator! 🎉 If you see anything that needs immediate attention in a bathroom, in your dorm room, classroom, or anywhere else on the campus, just scan this QR code with your phone and it will take you directly to the “Service Request” submission form. Fill out the form, submit your work order request, and a member will take care of your request!

It is 🎉Congratulations to 's "Maintenance Supervisor of the Month", Shannon! Shannon has been an HVAC technician for for 3 years, but he has been working on HVACs for 31 years! He started when he was 17! 🤯 If you submit a work order regarding your A/C or heater, Shannon will come to the rescue! We are fortunate to have him- Thank you for your hard work, Shannon (and for being the first employee to knock our manager into the dunk tank during our carnival! 🤣)

Today would like to congratulate our locksmith, AB, for being named the "Maintenance Employee of the Month" for May 🥳. AB has worked for for 6 years. He started out in Maintenance and Grounds but, last year, accepted the role as 's locksmith. AB has impressive work ethics and completes his work orders with excellent efficiency! If you need a key or lock made, or help fixing a door, this is the guy to call! 😄

The students are gone for the summer, which means.... HELLO SUMMER FLIP🥳! While the are off campus, is busy preparing for the Fall semester. We are cleaning, renovating, and ensuring that the campus is safe, efficient, and looks beautiful for the upcoming school year. Stay tuned for some exciting Summer Flip project photos and details!

Today we are highlighting 's first, ever "Manager of the Month", Jabbar. Jabbar is our Grounds Team Manager and has worked for Aramark since 2010. Before that, he worked at for 5 years. He has done an amazing job keeping the campus safe, clean, and looking beautiful! Congratulations Jabbar!

This week, Mary Johnson, 's General Manager of three years, accepted an award during the taping of the annual Black Tie Scholarship Gala at AAMU. Aramark Facilities has participated in this premiere fundraiser each year as a Platinum Sponsor. The proceeds of these donations directly benefits the education of deserving students at Alabama A&M.

When you create and submit a Work Order to AAMU Aramark Facilities and receive phone calls in regards to those Work Orders, you are interacting with our fantastic Administrative Assistants. We would like to introduce you to Shannon and Cameron! Shannon is an honor roll student graduating early from high school this May. She can play the saxophone, enjoys traveling, has three dogs, and loves a good bowl of Fettucine Alfredo! Cameron is a mother, a wife, owns a bakery, and has her degree in Education. She is originally from Texas and is new to Aramark and Alabama!

Aramark Facilities wants to congratulate LaShon Nichole on the completion of her first renovation as Project Manager! She worked day and night to ensure that these dressing rooms were perfect for the AAMU theatre program. Not only is Nichole a hard worker for Aramark Facilities, but she is also a fellow AAMU Bulldog Alumni and currently working on her MBA. Way to go, Nichole!!!!

What a better way to welcome the new theater director, Mrs. Balch-Coon, than with a renovation! These dressing rooms had been neglected for decades and were in desperate need for repairs! Through the vision of our incredible Project Manager Nichole, and the hard-work/ dedication of our Maintenance/ Grounds/ and Custodial team, Aramark Facilities was able to bring new life into these old dressing rooms. Two dressing rooms and a storage room were completely restored with new floors, walls, paint, light fixtures, plumbing, cabinetry, and much more. We cannot wait for the talented theater students of AAMU to enjoy their much deserved dressing rooms!
