I am incredibly grateful for the overwhelming sales, support, and engagement that my books have received. It is truly a blessing to witness how many of you have not only embraced the new year with enthusiasm but have also gone the extra mile by purchasing books for your colleagues, loved ones, accountability partners, and even strangers.
🌺 Although this week is not yet over, I want to share that my prayer and fasting focus has been specifically directed towards every woman who currently possesses my books, as well as those who will acquire them in the future during the first seven days of my twenty one day fast. I want you to know that I am covering you, your year, your families, your friends, your purpose, your identity, your next steps, your health, and even your heart in my prayers. God has provided me with specific scriptures to intercede on your behalf, and I will continue to do so throughout my 21-day fast and the entirety of this year.
🌺As I commit to consuming only water and an extremely modest diet of toast, peanut butter, and crackers to sustain myself during this period, please understand that my dedication to all of you surpasses my own well-being. Your spiritual growth, fulfillment, and success are of utmost importance to me.
🥹Thank you once again for your unwavering support. I am truly honored to be a part of your journey, and I am committed to providing you with valuable resources that will empower and uplift you.💕🙏🏾

When I first heard about Ryker's Rainbow at our quarterly meeting for , I was in the midst of dealing with my own grief and just trying to move forward.
I made a conscious decision to stop dwelling on something I couldn't control and let go of the pain associated with losing Kree. Then, Lacey came forward and shared her story and the "why" behind her nonprofit, , that honors her son's life and the lives of other children who have been lost in pregnancy, infancy, or childhood.
Her words immediately moved me to tears, and I couldn't hold back my emotions. Thankfully, Jennifer West, her colleague, offered me a comforting embrace, reminding me that I wasn't alone in my pain.
Yesterday, Ryker's Rainbow organized their first-ever "5 Candles" dinner, a touching event that paid tribute to the children we have lost and the healthcare workers who support grieving families with tender care. I was fortunate enough to sit at a table with an amazing couple and a mother named Susanna. Not only did she share my tears, but we also found moments of laughter and shared our own experiences. We didn't rush each other or downplay the pain we had endured; instead, we simply embraced the present moment.
I can't express how much I needed that dinner yesterday. It was a truly beautiful evening, made possible by my sweet friend Lacey Schoff at Ryker's Rainbow and my newfound friend, Susanna. I am grateful for the experience and the opportunity to connect with others who understand the depth of this kind of loss. Ryker's Rainbow is truly a light in the darkness and proof that God can turn your pain into purpose.🥹💕

Truth is, I’ve spent this year ungrateful.
I was consumed by grief and anger, and I even lost my will to live. It's been a struggle to function with depression, but thankfully, my loved ones have been there to support me and help me through it.
To make matters worse, I turned 35 around the same time I was supposed to give birth to the baby girl I had been praying for, for over 10 years. It felt like God was testing me, putting me through the fire and cutting away everything that didn't align with His plan. Even my finances took a hit, but I kept pushing forward.
In the midst of all this, I rediscovered my purpose and understanding that I have to endure hardships for the sake of others. It's been a year of extremes, the worst and the best all rolled into one. It's a paradox, you know? But through it all, I've felt God's presence and provision, I have nothing but gratitude and praise for Him.
I finally understand what it means to "count it all joy." And for that, I'm truly thankful.
So, this Thanksgiving, focus on the people and things you have in your lives, rather than what you lack. Trust in God's sovereignty and His intentional plan for you, because He knows what He's doing.
Happy Thanksgiving y'all!
To all who mourn in Israel he will give: beauty for ashes; joy instead of mourning; praise instead of heaviness. For God has planted them like strong and and graceful oaks for his own glory. (Isaiah 61:3)

And just like that, I have officially become an author. It's truly unbelievable that God has given me the opportunity to bless women with not one, but two books before the end of what I have been referring to as the most challenging year of my life.
The truth is, I desperately needed these books. They were supposed to be released at the beginning of this year as I've been working on them since last year. However, after the loss of my daughter, I needed the solace of prayer, the power of affirmations, the release of doodling, and the therapeutic act of coloring. I simply needed prayers written for me because I couldn't even find the words to express myself.
My first book is a 52-Week Prayer Journal for women, accompanied by a coloring book. This journal is designed to guide women through a year of spiritual growth and reflection. It provides a space for personal prayers, a place to vent and express gratitude, weekly affirmations, weekly topics with introspective questions and action steps, places to doodle, and the coloring book adds a therapeutic touch to the journey. And there's still so much more inside of this book!
My second book, the Little Book of Prayers, contains over 175 topical prayers addressing various challenges women face, from divorce and abuse to singleness and depression. It covers topics such as su***de, self-worth, husbands, purpose, finances, parenting, triggers, grief, and doubt. This little book is a treasure trove of scriptures and will be available for purchase on my website and Amazon in the coming days.
I am overwhelmed with emotion right now, on the verge of tears, because this is just the beginning for my book collections. I am filled with gratitude towards my family and friends who have believed in me and pushed me to pursue my dreams. Thank you all so much!
Now, who's ready to see the covers?👀

I find it fascinating when individuals are posed with the question of who they are they tend to respond by describing what they do. They proudly proclaim, "I am a doctor," or "I am a pastor," or "I am a stay-at-home mom." However, none of these titles define who they are.
I'm fortunate; my name is "Joy," and I strive to embody that.
Interestingly enough, most people identify me by my name before they even know it because joy is what I exude.
🖊️Your true identity is not rooted in your occupation or societal role. It is determined by the impact you make on others.
For example, my husband is a connector. He has an amazing ability to remember people he speaks with and connect them with others who could benefit from their unique skill sets, support, or businesses. It's truly remarkable how effortlessly he brings people together and helps them forge valuable connections.
🖊️Who you are can be identified by what you bring to each room you enter.
You are so much more than just what you do. Your true essence, your quirks, your passions – that's what defines you, my friend. So, don't let your job or your daily grind overshadow the incredible person you are.
Embrace your uniqueness and let it shine!
